| Cellex-C Sea Silk Moisturizer is a soft sea-foam colored cream containing a rich medley of sea botanical extracts. These include Omega plankton, marine algae, aquatic vegetable protein, DMAE complex, watercress extract and seaweed biopeptides. It is designed to achieve the ultimate light-weight oil-free moisturizer. Contains Omegaplankton (plankton extract), a natural marine source of Omega 3 essential fatty acids (EFA’s). Omega 3 is believed to play a role in mediating the inflammatory response caused by sun, pollution and the aging process. As we age, the body’s ability to produce EFA’s diminishes, therefore the EFA’s that are so important to maintaining moisture in the skin gradually decreases. Comprised of micro-algae, it is particularly rich in lipids and fatty acids as well as proteins, vitamins and trace elements. Derived from a vegetal plankton source, the active portion of Omegaplankton is composed of Docosahexanoic Acid (DHA) and Eicosapentanoic Acid (EPA). These essential fatty acids are normally found in the skin and are fundamental to cell membrane development as well as aiding in the reduction of transepidermal water loss. Contains seaweed biopeptides (hydrolyzed ulva lactuca) believed to have beneficial effects on skin elasticity and collagen synthesis. Contains Marine Moisturizing Factor (Codium tomentosum). This marine algae extract is recognized for its ability to create both immediate and long lasting hydration. |
